ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EL SALVADOR VISA
To be eligible for an El Salvador visa, you must meet the following criteria:
- Valid passport
Have a passport that is valid for at least six months after your intended stay
- Proof of funds
Provide proof of sufficient funds to cover your living expenses and document processing
- Proof of travel
Provide proof of your travel purpose, such as a business cover letter, conference registration, or hotel reservations
- Proof of return
Provide proof of your return flight or air ticket
- Other documents
Provide other documents as requested, such as a copy of your passport, copies of visas for other countries, a letter of invitation, bank and commercial references, or a certificate of good conduct

- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
- 2 Scanned recent colour photograph. (Photo Specification);
- 3 Visa Application forms: completed and signed
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country
- Income Tax Returns/Form 16: for last 3 years
- Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 6 months with bank seal
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay

El Salvador visa is issued for a period of 90 days.
Yes. For short visits (90 days or less),a tourist card can be obtained on arrival at the airport from immigration officials, provided the visitor's passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the last day of the intended stay in El Salvador, has return flight tickets and sufficient funds for the entire trip. Since obtaining a visa on arrival is not guaranteed, we recommend all travellers to obtain a visa prior to their journey.
