ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NICARAGUA VISA

To be eligible for a visa to visit Nicaragua, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Passport

You must have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your departure date and has at least one blank visa page. If you have multiple nationalities, you must bring passports for all of them. 

  • Travel documents

You must have proof of onward and return flights, and all documents required for your next destination. 

  • Purpose of travel

You must have documents that show the purpose of your trip, such as a business cover letter, conference registration, or other support letter. 

  • Funds

You must have enough funds to support yourself and any dependents during your stay. 

  • Health

You must meet the minimum health requirements set by the authorities. You will be checked for medical fitness upon arrival and quarantined if you show any signs of illness. 

  • Criminal record

You must have a clean criminal record and be of good character. You may need to provide a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). 

  • Yellow fever vaccination

You must have a yellow fever vaccination that was administered at least ten days before your departure
