Documents required for Sierra Leone Visa:

- Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents
- Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC)
- If the child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
- If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
- Death Certificate: in case one or both parents are deceased
- ID Proof: of parents
6. If Visiting friend or relative
- Invitation letter: stating the relationship with the inviter and purpose of visiting the country & assuring the responsibility for housing and related expenses during the guest’s stay in Algeria

7. If Sponsored
- Sponsorship Letter: providing the name of the visitors, what the purpose of the visit is, relationship with the visitors, length of stay, dates of travel & any other additional information if necessary

8. For Business Visa
Introduction/ recommendation letter from:
- One of the Chambers of Commerce and Industries, government of India;
- Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India;
- Export Promotion Council of India; or Reference number from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan.
Registration certificate of the company from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India:
- Income tax documents of the last three years;
- Letter from the company addressed to the embassy, introducing the business man for visa issuance;
- Invitation letter from the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan;
- Copy of the license (JAWAZ) of the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan.

Yes, all Indian passport holders require a visit to visit Solomon Islands. The Immigration Division’s Border Control Unit is responsible for processing this visa class on behalf of the Director of Immigration. The type of visa to enter Solomon Islands will depend on several factors such as nationality, purpose of your planned visit and duration.
Short Term Visa:
Short term visas are offered to foreign nationals who wish to visit the Solomon Islands for a short term stay. This can be for a maximum period of 3 months or 12 months depending on the visa type.
- Visitor Visa: Visitor visas are short term visas that allow holders to enter and stay in the Solomon Islands for a short-term visit as a tourist or as someone visiting friends and family. The minimum period of stay for visa holders is 6 weeks, with a maximum combined period of 90 days.
- Business Visa: Business visas are short term visas that allow holders to enter and stay in the Solomon Islands for business purposes. The minimum period of stay for visa holders is 6 weeks, with a maximum combined period of 90 days. Before a visitor’s permit can be issued, a visitor who wishes to engage in any business, profession, or employment for more than 30 days must obtain a work permit from the Commissioner of Labour and provide it to the Director of Immigration. Similarly, a visitor who wishes to undertake research must submit a research permit from the Education Minister or Department before being granted a visitor’s permit.
Long Term Visa:
Long term visas are offered to foreign nationals who plan to reside (usually for the purpose of setting up a business, investing, employment, study, research, exchange, or for religious purposes). Applicants must apply to the Director of Immigration for a visa to enter and reside before entering the Solomon Islands. The maximum validity of a visa to enter and reside is two years. Current visa holders who wish to extend their stay in the Solomon Islands further must apply to the Director of Immigration two months before their existing visa expires, ensuring all requirements are met.

A visitor’s permit entitles a visitor to remain in Solomon Islands for any period or periods in the aggregate, not exceeding three (3) months. It has a single entry facility.
One must carefully note what kind of entry is permitted. If the visa reads a single entry, its holder can only enter and leave Solomon Islands once whereas, with multiple entries, he/she can enter or leave the country multiple times.
A visitor’s permit can be extended beyond the 3 months for a further period or aggregated period of up to 3 months provided there are special circumstances justifying the extension. Yes, the Immigration division will stamp the visa in the original passport. Therefore, two blank pages are required in the passport. Your passport should also be valid for minimum six months beyond the intended stay.
