Upon arrival at Madurai, known as the Athens of the East and the cradle of Tamil culture, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing including: Meenakshi Amman Temple – famous for its towering gopurams and intricate sculptures Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal – a grand 17th-century palace known for its impressive architecture Mariamman Teppakulam – a large temple tank renowned for its annual float festival Overnight stay at the hotel in Madurai.
After breakfast, proceed to Rameswaram, one of the four most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destinations (Char Dham).
