IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Guests wishing to use USD dollars onboard must carry a passport & PAN card copy. In case of any cash payments exceeding Rs.50,000/-, it is mandatory for the guest to provide a valid copy of the PAN card as issued by the Govt. of India.
  • For immigration purposes, all foreign passports need to be handed over to the ship. The guest will get it back on their disembarkation day before coming out of the ship at reception.
  • Alcohol bottles are not allowed to be carried onboard.
  • Electrical appliances are not allowed to be carried due to security and safety purposes.
  • Cooked food and fresh fruits are not allowed to be carried onboard.
  • Pre-booked Shorex guests must visit the Shorex counter onboard to collect their sightseeing tickets. Venue access is subject to any private venue bookings by groups/corporate/weddings. Bookings made for any paid services onboard/shore side are nonrefundable.
  • Cordelia Cruises reserves the right to change the inclusion list without any prior notice.

Pointers to follow by guests while on-board

On-board Requirements

DO’S

  • It is mandatory to attend the Safety Drill on Day 1.
  • Event organizers must maintain discipline of both their guests and support staff.
  • Inform all attendees of the event to carry proper attire for Swimming Pool (Swim Wear).
  • No personal clothes are allowed when using the pools.
  • Inform all attendees to read the Daily Paper to be aware of the onboard shows and activities planned for other guests.
  • Do remember that the Ship will not wait post the Departure time – any guests or event team members not on board at this time will be left behind.
  • Cooperate and listen to instructions given by onboard Crew Members. Health & Safety requirements are strictly enforced, and failure to comply may result in disembarkation.

DON’T’S

  • Do not enter areas marked “Crew Area” or “Restricted Area.”
  • Do not smoke in non-designated areas, including cabins and balconies. Violation may incur a fine (USD $1000).
  • Do not carry hard liquor bottles onboard from any port, as they will be confiscated and returned upon disembarkation.
  • Do not misbehave with crew or other passengers onboard, as it may lead to disembarkation or intervention by local authorities.
  • Do not disturb other passengers.
  • Do not throw items in the toilets other than human waste and toilet paper.
  • Do not spit. Chewing tobacco/pan is prohibited (Fine USD $1000).
  • Do not sit, stand, or climb on any railings or barriers, or tamper with safety equipment, facilities, or systems.

Prohibited Items

  • Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic/toy replicas.
  • Weapons, sharp objects, including all knives, blades, swords, and scissors. (Note: Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.)
  • Illegal Drugs & Substances.
  • CBD Oil / CBD Products (CANNABIDIOL).
  • Candles, Incense, Coffee Makers, Clothes Irons, Travel Steamers & Hot Plates. (Items that generate heat or produce an open flame. Includes heating pads, clothing irons, hotplates, candles, curling irons, hair straighteners, incense, and any item that may create a fire hazard.)
  • Matches and normal lighters are allowed on-board. However, torch lighters and novelty lighters that resemble guns are not allowed on-board.
  • Hover boards.
  • Martial Arts, Self Defense, and Sports Gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray, night sticks.
  • Flammable Liquids and Explosives, including lighter fluid and fireworks.
  • Hookahs & Water Hookah Pipes.
  • HAM Radios.
  • Baby Monitors.
  • Electrical Extension Cords.
  • Dangerous Chemicals, including bleach and paint.
  • Perishable Food & Meat Products.
  • Alcoholic Beverages.
  • Drones.

Prohibited Single-Use Plastics

  • Bags, trays, containers, food packaging film, milk bottles, freezer bags, shampoo bottles, ice cream containers, bottles for water and other drinks, dispensing containers for cleaning fluids, biscuit trays, hot drink cups, insulated food packaging, protective packaging, microwave dishes, ice cream tubs, potato chips bags, bottle caps, etc.

Additional Restrictions

  • Food items, whether homemade or readymade, shall be confiscated upon embarkation and returned on disembarkation. Drinks will be confiscated and discarded without compensation.
  • Guests are prohibited from carrying any eatables, food products, or non-alcoholic beverages on board.
  • No live animals or birds are permitted on board, except for specially trained assistance animals with prior permission.

PROHIBITED Actions

  • PROHIBITED - Use of foam or liquids in the swimming pools.
  • PROHIBITED - Bringing alcohol onboard from outside.
  • PROHIBITED - Smoking or spitting outside designated areas.
  • PROHIBITED - Entering areas marked CREW ONLY.
  • PROHIBITED - Storing food items in unapproved open spaces.
  • PROHIBITED - No shore staff allowed onboard to cook or serve guests.
  • PROHIBITED - No carpentry work or permanent fittings in any area.
  • PROHIBITED - Using trolleys in carpeted or guest walkways.
  • PROHIBITED - Storing items on Deck 6 open decks.
  • PROHIBITED - Bringing open/loose plastic onto open decks.
  • PROHIBITED - Leaving loose wires unattended.
  • PROHIBITED - Naked flames (except for IMO-permitted ceremonies).
  • PROHIBITED - Bringing pyrotechnics or drones onboard.
  • PROHIBITED - Carrying weapons or sharp items.
  • PROHIBITED - Buying or providing drinks for minors.

Baggage Policy

Guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to three bags per person (each not exceeding 20 kgs in weight) and a total weight of baggage per person not exceeding 50 kgs.

  • Any excess baggage shall be charged at INR 300 per kg.
  • The Company shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delay in the delivery of any luggage.
