Onboard Requirements

  • Guests wishing to use USD dollars onboard must carry a passport & PAN card copy. In case of any cash payments exceeding Rs. 50,000/-, it is mandatory for the guest to provide a valid copy of the PAN card as issued by the Govt. of India.
  • For immigration purposes, all foreign passports need to be handed over to the ship. The guest will get it back on their disembarkation day before coming out of the ship at reception.
  • Alcohol bottles are not allowed to be carried onboard.
  • Electrical appliances are not allowed to be carried due to security and safety purposes.
  • Cooked food and fresh fruits are not allowed to be carried onboard.
  • Pre-booked Shorex guests must visit the Shorex counter onboard to collect their sightseeing tickets. Venue access is subject to any private venue bookings by groups/corporate/weddings. Bookings made for any paid services onboard/shore side are non-refundable.
  • Cordelia Cruises reserves the right to change the inclusion list without any prior notice.

On-board Requirements

DO’S

  • It is mandatory to attend the Safety Drill on Day 1.
  • Event organizers must maintain discipline of both their guests and support staff.
  • Inform all attendees of the event to carry proper attire for the swimming pool (swimwear).
  • No personal clothes are allowed when using the pools.
  • Inform all attendees to read the Daily Paper to be aware of the onboard shows/activities also being planned for other guests.
  • Do remember that the ship will not wait post the departure time – any guests or event team members not on board at this time will be left behind.
  • Co-operate and listen to instructions given by onboard crew members – there are very strict health & safety requirements for operating on board a ship which MUST be adhered to. Those that refuse to abide by these requirements may be disembarked from the vessel.

DON’T’S

  • Do not enter areas indicating “Crew Area” or “Restricted Area.”
  • Do not smoke in non-designated areas as well as the cabins and balconies. If anyone is found doing so, they will be penalized with a fine (Fine USD $1000).
  • Do not carry any hard liquor bottles on board from any port (including the initial embarkation port) as it will be confiscated by port authorities and will be returned on the day of disembarkation.
  • Do not misbehave with crew or other passengers onboard; such action can lead to disembarkation or, if appropriate, the intervention of local law authorities.
  • Do not disturb other passengers.
  • Do not throw any items in the toilets other than human excreta & toilet paper.
  • Do not spit. Chewing tobacco/pan is prohibited (Fine USD $1000).
  • Do not sit, stand or climb on, over or across any exterior or interior railings or other protective barriers, or tamper with ship’s equipment, facilities or systems designed for guest safety.
  • Read the list of Prohibited Items on the next slide.

Prohibited Items

  • Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic/toy replicas.
  • Weapons, sharp objects, including all knives, blades, swords, and scissors. (Note: Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.)
  • Illegal Drugs & Substances.
  • CBD Oil / CBD Products (CANNABIDIOL).
  • Candles, Incense, Coffee Makers, Clothes Irons, Travel Steamers & Hot Plates. (Items that generate heat or produce an open flame. This includes heating pads, clothing irons, hot plates, candles, curling irons, hair straighteners, incense, and any other item that may create a fire hazard.)
  • Matches and normal lighters are allowed on-board. However, "torch lighters" and novelty lighters that look like guns are not allowed on-board. Torch lighters emit a powerful concentrated flame, and therefore are prohibited.
  • Hover boards.
  • Martial Arts, Self Defense, and Sports Gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray, and night sticks.
  • Flammable Liquids and Explosives, including lighter fluid and fireworks.
  • Hookahs & Water Hookah Pipes.
  • HAM Radios.
  • Baby Monitors.
  • Electrical Extension Cords.
  • Dangerous Chemicals, including bleach and paint.
  • Perishable Food & Meat Products.
  • Alcoholic Beverages.
  • Drones.

Prohibited Single-Use Plastics

  • Bags, trays, containers, food packaging film, milk bottles, freezer bags, shampoo bottles, ice cream containers, bottles for water and other drinks, dispensing containers for cleaning fluids, biscuit trays, hot drink cups, insulated food packaging, protective packaging for fragile items, microwave dishes, ice cream tubs, potato chip bags, bottle caps, etc.

Additional Notes

  • Food items, whether homemade (sealed/unsealed) or readymade of whatsoever nature, shall be immediately confiscated at the cost and risk of the guest.
  • Guests are prohibited from carrying any eatables, food products, home-packed food, non-alcoholic beverages (sparkling water, sodas, juice, milk), etc. (sealed or open) on board.
  • No live animals or birds are permitted on board, except specially trained assistance dogs or animals required by passengers with disabilities, provided the dog or animal has all required licenses and documentation and prior permission is obtained from Cordelia Cruises at the time of booking. The guide must not be left unattended on board the vessel at any time.

Important Notice

  • Such food items carried by guests shall be confiscated at the time of embarkation and returned on disembarkation of the guest.
  • Drinks will be confiscated and discarded, and no compensation will be provided.

PROHIBITED Activities

  • Use of foam/any sort of liquids in the swimming pools.
  • No alcohol from outside can be brought on board.
  • No smoking and/or spitting around the ship - only allowed in designated areas.
  • Entry to areas marked "CREW ONLY."
  • Food items must be stored in pre-arranged areas only (no open spaces); all food items must be pre-approved.
  • No shore staff can be brought on board to cook or serve guests.
  • No carpentry work or use of nails (or other permanent fittings) in any areas.
  • No trolleys are to be used in carpeted areas or guest walkways.
  • No storage is allowed on the open decks of Deck 6 (access required at all times for lift boats).
  • No open/loose plastic is allowed on the open decks.
  • No loose wires.
  • Naked flames at any time (except the pheras which has an official permit from IMO regulations).
  • Pyros & Drones are not allowed on board under any circumstances.
  • Weapons/sharp items are not allowed on board.
  • Buying or providing drinks for minors.

Luggage Policy

  • Guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to three bags per person (each not exceeding 20 kgs in weight) and total weight of baggage per person not exceeding 50 kgs.
  • Any excess baggage shall be charged at INR 300 per kg.
  • The Company shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delay in delivery of any luggage.
