FAQ OF NORWAY VISA
Extending the visa does not fall within the competence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or consulates. In justified cases, the visa can be extended by the office of Aliens Police. In case of same purpose of stay, the applicant is entitled to submit both applications for Schengen and long-term visa in case the purpose of stay is employment.

The decision of the consulate is based on the presented supporting documents and the interview with the applicant.
