Yes, all Indian passport holders require a visit to visit Uzbekistan. All visa applications to travel to Uzbekistan must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Uzbekistan in New Delhi, India. However, Indians travelling for solely tourism purpose can now apply for an e Visa. All other visa types such as business visa, private visa, transit visa must be applied at the Embassy.
An Electronic Visa or "e-Visa" is an electronically issued and stored authority for travel to the Republic of Uzbekistan, which replaces the traditional paper visa process in most cases. Once your visa application is approved, you will receive the visa copy via email right in your inbox.
Both documents allow to visit the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the legal must be printed and presented upon arrival at the Uzbekistan airport, whereas other visas, for e.g.: a business, private or transit visa will be stamped on your passport.
