ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BRUNIE VISA
- Valid passport:Â Your passport must be valid for at least six months.Â
- Purpose of visit: You must have a valid reason for traveling to Brunei. For example, if you are visiting friends, you may need an invitation letter from a resident in Brunei.Â
- Funds:Â You must have enough money to support yourself and any dependents while in Brunei.Â
- Return ticket:Â You must have a confirmed return or onward flight ticket.Â
- Good character:Â You must have a clean criminal record and be of good character.Â
- Health:Â You must meet the minimum health requirements set by the authorities.Â
- Photo:Â You may need to provide two recent, colored photographs that meet certain specifications.Â

- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
- 2 Scanned recent colour photograph. (Photo Specification);
- Visa Application forms: completed and signed
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country
- Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 3 months with bank seal
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay
- Travel Itinerary: day-wise plan outlining all elements of the trip
- Travel Insurance: covering the entire duration of trip

Tourist visas are for those Indian citizens travelling to Brunei Darussalam or sightseeing, recreation and casual visits to friends or families.
Business visas are ideal for Indian citizens travelling for Business Meetings, Conference, etc. for a shorter period of stay.
The Embassy has the final call when it comes to a Brunei visa rejection. If your application is rejected or is granted for a shorter period, the authorities’ decision is final and no refund will be issued.
Yes, the Embassy will stamp the visa in the original passport. Therefore, two blank pages are required in the passport. Your passport should also be valid for minimum six months beyond the intended stay.
