ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR DOMINICAN REPUBLIC VISA
To be eligible for a Dominican Republic visa, you must meet the following criteria:
- Passport:Â Have a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of your entry into the countryÂ
- Funds:Â Have enough funds to support your stayÂ
- Health insurance:Â Have health insurance to demonstrate that you can pay for healthcareÂ
- Purpose of visit:Â Have a valid reason for visiting, such as tourism, business, or studyÂ
- Invitation:Â If you are invited by a host, have an invitation letterÂ
- Medical certificate:Â For student, work, and other categories, have a medical certificate that states you are in good health and do not have any contagious diseasesÂ
- Police clearance certificate:Â Have a police clearance certificate, or equivalent, from every country you have resided in since you were 16Â
Other documents you may need to include with your application are:
- A recent photographÂ
- A completed visa application formÂ
- A covering letter from your employer, if you are applying for a business visaÂ
- Proof of pension, if you are applying for permanent residencyÂ
- A certified or notarized copy of your passport

- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
- 2 Scanned recent colour photograph. (Photo Specification);
- 3 Visa Application forms: completed and signed
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country
- Evidence of Financial Funds: bank statement of last 6 months with minimum balance of at least USD 5000. Proof of availability of sufficient funds for stay in India including the expenses for medical treatment by producing documents such as bank statement, sponsorship letter etc.
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay
- Travel Itinerary: day-wise plan outlining all elements of the trip

However, all applications must be submitted to VFS Global Services in India.
