Documents required for Ukraine Visa
Must have Documents for Ukraine Visa:
- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
- Visa Application form: completed and signed
- 2 recent photographs: colour photo with white background and matt finish(Photo Specification)
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country
- Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 6 months with bank seal
- Income Tax Returns/Form 16: for last 3 years
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay
- Travel Insurance: with minimum coverage of EUR 30000 and valid for entire duration of stay
- Kindly note: The Govt is very strict on the photograph requirement; please ensure that your photos are as per the specifications.
Supporting documents as per your occupation, type of visit:
1. If Employed
- Leave Sanctioned Certificate: with company seal providing approval for leave
- Salary Slips: of last 3 months
2. If Self Employed
Business Proof: Registration License/MOA/Partnership deed
- Company Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 6 months with bank seal
- Company’s Income Tax Returns: of last 3 years
3. If Retired:
- Retirement Proof: pension book, statement etc
4. If Student
- ID Card: from school, college or institute
5. If Minor
- Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents
- Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC)
- If the child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
- If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
- Death Certificate: in case one or both parents are deceased
- ID Proof: of parents
6. If Visiting friend or relative
- Notarized Invitation letter

Document(s) confirming that the applicant is a spouse, a parent or a child of a citizen of Ukraine
Or
Document(s) confirming that the applicant owns property (real estate) allocated in Ukraine
Or
Certificate of a person of Ukrainian descent* issued by Ukraine’s National Committee on Persons of Ukrainian Descent - ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit
- Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill
7. If Sponsored
- Sponsorship Letter: sponsors need to provide the name of the visitors, what the purpose of the visit is, relationship with the visitors, length of stay, dates of travel & any other additional information if necessary
- ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit
- Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill
- Proof of Financial Support: updated bank statement, pay slips
8. For Business Visa
- Invitation letter from an entity/company/organisation registered in Ukraine, presented on the official letterhead

Invitation letter must be supported by Ukrainian Government issued Company registration certificate

Document issued by the relevant regional/city state administration/bank confirming that the applicant has made an investment to Ukraine’s economy - Business Covering Letter: from Indian company on company letterhead.

Yes. Every time you apply for a Ukrainian visa, you must supply the recent supplementary documentation.
Indians travelling to Ukraine can choose from different type of visas depending on their reason for travel. Tourist visa is granted for those applicants who intend to visit Ukraine for tourism and sightseeing without having an invitation from a Ukrainian referent. Private visit visa is for applicants visiting family and friends legally residing in Ukraine. A Business visa is issued for business travellers and representatives of business organizations
Ukrainian visa is normally processed in up to 10 working days from the day of application within regular service unless stipulated otherwise by Ukraine’s international treaties. Processing time of an application filed within regular service may be extended for up to 30 working days if additional checks are necessary. There is also an express visa service wherein the visa is processed in up to 5 working days from the day of application within expedited service (specific number of days to be defined by each Embassy/Consulate);
Short term Ukrainian visas are issued as single / double / multiple entry visas valid for 6 months or another period depending on supporting documents but cannot be issued for more than a 5 year-term
Yes, the Ukrainian visa is a stamp or sticker that is placed on an empty page of a passport. Therefore, the original passport with two consecutive blank pages is required to be submitted in person.
